The Swiss Global Academy Institute of Innovation & Technology, operates under the legal structure of a Swiss limited liability company (GmbH) known as Swiss Global Academy GmbH. This organizational form ensures a clear governance structure, legal accountability, and efficient management processes suitable for an international academic institution.

The founder, rector, and managing director of the institution is Prof. Prof. h.c. Dr. h.c. mult. Eberhard Bräun, who is responsible for the strategic development, academic direction, and overall management of the academy. As both the academic head and executive leader, he ensures that the institution’s educational activities align with its mission of promoting innovation, technology, and global academic collaboration.

Prof. Eberhard Bräun studied in Konstanz, Germany, and after a diverse professional career in Germany and abroad, he developed extensive expertise in the consulting and development of higher education institutions. His professional achievements, combined with sustained social engagement, led to the award of several honors including honorary doctorates and honorary professorships, as well as his appointment as professor.

Throughout his career, Prof. Bräun has served as a representative of several universities and has maintained strong international academic connections. He is also the founder and chairman of the charitable organization “Support for the Rehabilitation Center for Street Children” in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, through which he continues to support social initiatives and maintain close relationships with educational and humanitarian institutions.

In the coming years, Prof. Bräun will remain actively involved in both the strategic and operational development of the Swiss Global Academy. In addition to his leadership role, he will continue to contribute his expertise in an advisory capacity and remain closely engaged in the support and supervision of partners, students, and clients of the institution.
